My research target can be described as “Next Generation Multifunctional Nano-Science of Advanced Metal Complexes with Quantum Effect and Nonlinearity”. work encompasses four important key areas: (1) inorganic-organic hybrid systems, (2) nano-size nano-space, (3) bottom-up self-assembly, (4) nonlinearity quantum effect. Among them, effect are the most for nano-science advanced metal complexes. I have been working on these two topics (nonlinearity effect) simultaneously more than 40 years. As effect, focused Haldane gap single-chain magnets (SCMs), single-molecule (SMMs), Kondo resonance SMMs, photo-switchable metallic conducting SMMs encapsulated into single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT), metal-organic framework (MOF)-spintronics spin qubits, pursuing high-density memory devices computing. nonlinearity, quasi-one-dimensional halogen-bridged complexes (MX-Chains; M = Pt, Pd, Ni; X Cl, Br, I) nonlinear excitons such solitons polarons, strongly electron-correlated Ni(III) gigantic third-order optical phase transitions charge fluctuations between Pd(III) averaged states (= Mott insulator) Pd(II)-Pd(IV) mixed-valence density wave states), communication, switching, In this review article, will describe above main (quantum nonlinearity) according to my history years, respectively.
